The Path to Healing by Schutz

Three Levels of Vitality
Self: Writing
People: Active communication
Body: Diet and exercise

These three parts have recently received a lot of attention:
I have been recording my random thoughts for a long time, and I have only recently started writing long pieces, which has allowed me to touch the texture of thinking.
In relationships, we often find ourselves in a passive position. Over the past three months, I have been constantly filtering online and offline relationships, and currently, I feel good about them.
Last month, I tried a month of "light eating" (kind of following the trend, haha). Yesterday, when I weighed myself, I was surprised to find that I had lost 4kg. I guess I'll go back to a normal diet in May.
I have been consistently exercising, starting with running and gradually incorporating other types of exercise.

Part X: The Voice of the Impossible

After learning about Part X, I realized that the dark side of my inner self can be divided into EGO and Part X, which are completely opposite but both act as "walls" that hinder our growth. Overconfidence can bring out the former, while lack of confidence can bring out the latter.

Perfection does not exist. It is through pain, shame, and embarrassment that we connect with others.

I used to think that it was our connection with others that caused pain, shame, and embarrassment. Now, upon reevaluating these relationships, I realize that it is completely the opposite.

Being in a high-pressure situation where we need to believe that we are perfect allows us to have a dialogue with our true selves. If I am satisfied with my true self, the opinions of others will have less influence on me.

Everyone has a snapshot in their mind (shallow and static), which contains the things we desire most. However, reality has three elements: uncertainty, pain, and continuous effort. These three elements will not disappear, and they will constantly remind us of the snapshot. When we actually achieve the life depicted in the snapshot, we realize that reality is disconnected from the snapshot. The three elements of reality will not disappear. If we do not anticipate this situation, we will have to face a sense of defeat.

Find a way to make the "snapshot" dynamic and explore its depth. The snapshot is a form of transfer.

Flow of Gratitude
Identify three or four things that can create a sense of gratitude.
These positive things are hidden above the clouds (Part X), and they cannot be seen. However, they are there.
Instead of seeking the same things, constantly explore and find different objects of gratitude.
When negative emotions arise, avoid arguing with them, as it will only bring negative effects.

Dealing with Loss
When experiencing loss, one may feel depressed or melancholic, constantly worrying about its occurrence before it happens.
Therefore, our goal is to achieve the so-called power of non-attachment.
Find something you are unwilling to lose and rehearse the loss.
The only thing you can do is to give, not to take.
Our goal is not to become carefree, but to not let loss destroy our sense of wholeness.

Two years ago, a friend told me a similar concept. The essence of it was that in a romantic relationship, both parties do not bind each other to themselves. As long as one's commitment to the relationship is genuine, they can choose to leave at any time.

The ending shot is so wonderful! The conversation ends, and Stuarts leaves his seat, passes through a door frame with only a door frame, the camera follows, he gets into bed, and ocean waves appear in the background, calm.

There is one more conversation at the end:

Are you flying in the air?
I hope I will stop when my feet touch the ground.
Did you buy flight insurance?

From the title, it can be seen that the identities of the two parties are constantly shifting in the film, and they are equally vulnerable. One has lost his younger brother in childhood and is haunted by the shadow of death, while the other has early-onset Parkinson's disease.
