Went to adjust the glasses frame again in the morning, uncomfortable, so I changed the frame in the afternoon. Titanium, it should be much better, now it feels very light, accompany me to prepare for the postgraduate entrance examination!
This lens is the first time I have paired it with a semi-frame glasses frame, it needs to be slotted, it takes thirty minutes. I took my sister to the first pedestrian street in my hometown. When I was a child, our family's store was located across the street, next to a department store. My mom often took me here to shop.
Two floors, four exits, it was a unique existence in the city at that time, and many people would come here to stroll in the evening. Most of the shops sell clothing. When my mom brought me here, we would spend the whole afternoon. We would go into a shop, pick out two clothes that we liked, and gesture with them. If we really liked them, we would go into the fitting room to try them on. Of course, these are all small shops, and the fitting rooms are very narrow. Some children's clothing stores don't even have fitting rooms. The children would just sit on the rubber sofa in the middle of the store and change directly. Occasionally, taking the wrong clothes is also a common occurrence. But the joy of choosing clothes, trying them on, and buying them is not restricted by the narrow store space. The enthusiastic shop assistants would help you open your wallet like they were opening their hands.
I was also happy because I could buy some snacks on the way, but the most important thing was the elevator in the center of the pedestrian street. At that time, there were very few elevators, only a few department stores had them, but those elevators were crawling inside the buildings. This elevator, on the other hand, could be seen standing on the street. This uniqueness made me particularly fond of this elevator.
When I went there again today, I entered through one entrance and walked through it in a few minutes. Although I didn't go into the stores to shop, the size of the street now is completely different from what I remembered. Maybe when I was a child, I measured it with a child's feet and height. The scale unit now is too large, which inevitably makes it appear smaller. That elevator has also stopped, no, maybe it's not the same one anymore, after all, it's been more than ten years. Fortunately, most of the stores are still open, although there aren't many people, they still show some vitality. In a few years, these small shops should still exist. With the development of logistics, although it is difficult to run physical stores, there is still some demand and corresponding living space. But the renovation of this street should be difficult. It's also good this way, every brick and tile still retains the appearance of my childhood.
